Jason Roberts
Founder of Scale CxO. Fractional GTM & Client Lifecycle Executive and EOS Integrator for B2B recurring-revenue businesses, based in Overland Park, Kansas.
I've spent more than fifteen years as a COO and SVP-level operating executive at PE-backed and VC-backed B2B SaaS companies, including scaling one platform from $25M to $300M ARR through four successive acquisitions.
Across those roles, one lesson kept repeating: the client relationship is the primary driver of recurring revenue growth, and it's usually the least engineered part of the business. Retention problems tend to start before the customer signs, in how the company sells, sets expectations, and hands off to the team that delivers.
I started Scale CxO to bring that operating experience to growth-stage companies earlier, before the missteps in scaling client operations become expensive to unwind. I build the strategy, process, measurement, and technology, including AI, that let a company scale without breaking.
I studied Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering at Iowa State University, which still shapes how I approach operations: as systems to be designed, measured, and improved.
